sorry it's been a while...

Oh I am sorry for neglecting you blog... It hasn't been on purpose! It's just I've been busy...
I know, I know,
It's not a good enough excuse.

But I thought I would start back blogging by letting you all know how fabulous this month's glossybox is!
I won't bore you all with what it's about as I have already wrote a post all about it, "hey, hey it's glossybox day"

I have to admit this is the best box yet!
The box itself is a beautiful red, very festive! Rather than their usual pink.

 This is the contents.

Cargo Cosmetics: Classic Lip Gloss usually $10
( I mean pounds not dollars but I can't get a pound sign up on this stupid keyboard!)
A luxurious moisturising facebase enriched with active nutrients and extracts to prime and nourish the skin - It's beautiful! I used it straight after it arrived and it feels amazing on your face really soothing, which is what we all need after this horrid weather plays havoc with our skin!
Deborah Lippmann - in a beautiful purple shade very glittery but not that thick sort of glittery nail varnish you can get which takes years to remove, it's fairly thin but give a lovely affective shine and rather festive too!
Rituals foaming shower gel - I received the 'Yogi flow - Indian rose & sweet almond oil' Smells amazing!! Can't wait to use it!

Blink + go hi - definition mascara - I have to admit I was very happy to receive this as I ran out of mascara yesterday, so this is perfect. Not only that I have a few friends that use Blink+Go and recommend it, however I can't justify spending $14.99 on mascara! Also the brush isn't thick which is good because I can't use thick brushes as I don't feel like it's applying properly.

So all in all it's a big thumbs up for this months box from me!

I have a guilty pleasure tucked away in the depths of Bambino's wardrobe...

I love it!! He only wears it around the house but when he does I think he looks adorable! We live in a fairly 'Chavy' town so I probably wouldn't leave the the house with him wearing because people will probably just think he is an ASBO time-bomb!

Saving money ideas

There is no get quick rich secret I haven't been informed of is there??

Because doing Avon certainly isn't it, I started last Thursday and am giving up already, it was a stupid idea anyway but I didn't realise how time consuming it would be. You have to go and hand out 150 catalogues then go pick them up (And nobody is every in, and nobody leaves the books outside! And I'm not going round at night to collect them! I have better things to do) then hand them back out again, pfft! I would rather spend my days inside in the warm playing with bambino! Plus you make no money! I don't understand why people do it!

So I have decided to write a top five list of ways to save money, according to me and Bambino:
1.Don't put the heating on, it will cost you your life savings! just pop on a woolly hat some jumpers and a pair of gloves and snuggle up all day. This is how me and Bambino are planning to spend the winter.

2.Don't buy new underwear. It's not necessary, I have been with the Fiance for a while and feel perfectly comfortable wearing underwear that is grey and holy. If you buy new underwear you may feel attractive and that's not good, because your partner may also find you attractive and want hanky panky (however may be a good way of keeping warm as your not putting the heating on, but you could end up with another mouth to feed and in the long run will cost you even more money!)

3. Bunnies. They are cute, adorable and worth money! Buy two, breed them, then you will have lots of bunnies! Be sure not to show them to the Bambinos though because children could get attached and this is not good! "Mummy where's buggs and Thumper?" I don't know about you but I couldn't have that on my conscience. This could also work with puppies and kittens too!

4.Homemade cards. Clinton's charge an arm and a leg for a card, simply start up your own sweatshop! Get lots of paper, paints, glue, glitter (All widely available very cheap!) and get your bambino's to get creative! Then send them to family and friends as Christmas and Birthday cards! Genius!

5. New toys are also over-rated! Who needs Thomas the Tank engine trains and Waybuloo dolls? Bambino is more than happy sitting on the floor with pots and pans and the bread bin lid with a wooden spoon making a racket! Which is fine by me, as for Christmas I will get new pots and pans for Bambino and every ones happy! Universal gifts.

To be honest I'm surprised I'm not minted by now!

Hemp Hand Protector

It's that time of year again... The time of year me and my hands start hating each other.

Every single year without fail my hands let me know it's winter by peeling, it sounds gross! And to be honest it is!

You know when you dip your finger in melted wax and you can just peal the dried wax off? Well that's sort of like what the skin on my hands gets like. And every year I try a new 'miricale aid' whether it's hand cream, protector, hand butter, oils etc... and every year I am disappointed.

However I have found a little wonder!

It's from bodyshop and it called "Hemp Hand Protector"

I LOVE THIS! So If you have hands that hate the winter, or you just fancy a little protection from the ever unpredictable weather. I highly recommend Hemp!

Usually I find it is quite pricey but a necessity! At £10 but bodyshop are currently selling it on sale at £5!! I shall be stocking up for our (which I dread) long winter.
